ADA Shower Pans

Freedom ADA shower pans are designed to be used in commercial projects where compliance to ADA  guidelines (ADAAG) are a requirement.

Combined with custom tiled walls and ADA accessories, (ie, grab bars, seat, curtain rod), our ADA shower bases will complete any ADA bathroom requiring handicapped transfer shower roll in shower bases.

Freedom ADA compliant Shower bases have a slip resistant self-supporting pre-leveled bottom. This allows you to do snap in style installation without any mud setting, greatly reducing installation time and errors.

Handicapped accessible ADA shower bases feature barrier free thresholds allowing people in wheelchairs access to safe and comfortable bathing.

When properly installed and accessorized these ADA shower pans provide the barrier free shower base for ADA transfer showers and ADA roll in showers.

Transfer showers are smaller, with a minimum inside dimension of 36" x 36". They also offer a maximum 1/2" threshold and an individual must transfer into the shower from a wheelchair outside the shower, as the shower is too narrow to roll into.

ADA wheelchair roll in showers specify a minimum 60" x 30" inside dimension.  These showers must be installed with a zero threshold or a maximum 1/2" beveled change of level depending on your state and local building codes.
